NISHIKANDO: A cackling satire on today’s ‘state’ of affairs.
Nishi is a small town thief, who is plagued by penury. He and his wife, Phoolmoni, can hardly make their ends meet. Degraded by society, a disgruntled Nishi decides to run away. Deep in the jungle he meets an ascetic who offers him food and lodge. But the life of a sage doesn’t suit Nishi and he decides to return home in the disguise of a prophet. Soon with his cunningness and sheer stroke of luck, Nishi establishes himself as one of the great fortunetellers of all times.
Meanwhile, a very important file concerning national security gets stolen. The King comes to know of Nishi’s supernormal abilities and summons him. But Nishi is a fake!
